About Aimee Scalf

Aimee Scalf began serving in West Virginia as the Director of Church and Community Ministries / WMU mid January of 2010. Aimee has served in Franklin, Tennesse as a Children Minister and in Hendersonville, North Carolina as a Preschool Minister. During her time in children’s ministry Aimee worked to implement, encourage and advance missions education, and participation in preschoolers, children and their families. She has served in planning and executing associational leadership training events, and has lead seminars during national women’s ministry events. One thing she really looks forward to each year is church camp and getting into a life changing week with the emerging generation.

Aimee grew up in a small Southern Baptist Church in central Ohio. As a young child in Girls in Action she learned what a missionary was and decided that is what she wanted to do with her life. At a young age she began organizing toy drives, food closets and volunteered in a downtown Baptist Mission Center. All this helped shape her heart for ministry and moblizing believers into action. †Aimee earned a Bachelor of Arts from Morehead State University, then went on to earn a Master of Divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

Aimee is single and adores her two German Shepherds. Her parents and grandparents grew up in Clendenin, WV so joining the West Virginia team feels very much like coming home. She is excited to be here and join God in His work here in West Virginia.
