Student Ministry

Recognizing the great need for effective student ministry is no longer sufficient in today’s society.  With students being exposed to the trappings of this world at younger ages every day something must be done.  It is for that reason that the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists devotes time and finances towards partnering with local churches in an effort to reach students with the message of hope found in the Gospel.  It is the mission of the WVCSB to support and equip student ministries all across the state of West Virginia.  This initiative is accomplished by offering training, leadership, resources, high quality events, and networking for student workers.

It is our desire to partner with WVCSB churches of all sizes by communicating to our full-time, part-time, or volunteer Youth Pastors or Youth Directors.  This is accomplished through correspondence by mail, email, web page, state newspaper, as well as telephone communications.
