December 2011 Missions Update

Dear Pastors,

We pray that you are seeing the many blessings of this Christmas season.  We thank the Lord for your faithful witness unto Christ throughout the year.

You can be confident that your convention is moving forward with the direction put into place in November.  Your convention is working hard at assisting you in reaching West Virginia with the gospel.

Frank Pilcher and James Smith are making the transition to Church Planter Catalyst (CPC) and will remain in their current areas with Frank serving as the CPC for the North East Region and James Smith serving in the North Central Region.  Charlie Minney has requested to serve as the CPC in the North West Region.  He will begin his work there in January.

Several resumes have been received inquiring about the South West Region and South East Region.  A couple of individuals have risen to the top in this process, yet resumes will continue to be received through the month of December.  (Interested individuals should send those via email to Delton Beall at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Please be in prayer for those who will serve in these key ministry positions and for your Associational leaders on the Executive Board as they seek to represent you in this process.

Please pray for these men as they transition and for all of your state missionaries as they come alongside of you in ministry.

Again, thanks for all you are doing to take the Gospel across West Virginia to the Nations.
