Director Bio

Danny Rumple serves as the Executive Director-Treasurer of the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists. He previously served as Teaching and Discipleship Pastor at Cross Lanes Baptist Church and as Church Planting Catalyst for the North American Mission Board’s Send Network West Virginia. Prior to his ministry in West Virginia, he spent 15 years with the International Mission Board, leading a team in East Asia focused on cross-cultural ministry and small business development. He holds degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min., M.Div., M.A.) and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (B.S.). Danny and his wife, Beth, have three children—Caleb (married to Lexi), Joseph, and Anna—and are passionate about making Jesus known in and through West Virginia.
