We wish to strengthen and send churches across our state to raise a generation for Christ.

YEC (Youth Evangelism Conference)

For over 20 years, YEC has grown into one of the largest student events in WV. This is a phenomenal opportunity for 6-12 grade students to get away from life's distractions and focus their hearts on Christ through fellowship, worship, and gospel-centered teaching. This life-changing experience will make much of Jesus and empower students throughout West Virginia to boldly share the gospel as they live for him in today's world. God is using YEC to strengthen and send students to be on mission both locally and globally. We have seen many lives transformed for eternity, and many students commit to vocational ministry.

M.A.B.R. (Men and Boys Retreat)

SEPTEMBER

Bring a father, son, grandson, mentor, or friend for this WVCSB long standing, guys only retreat! Hear the gospel in a fun, exciting, and captivating way through worship and Bible study in the great outdoors. M.A.B.R. is also packed with fishing, archery, air rifles, bag toss, good food, and hanging with friends. Boys from first grade up may attend. One adult must accompany every five boys.

Vacation Bible School Training

FEBRUARY

According to LifeWay Research, children’s ministry leaders indicate that VBS attendance consistently is double any other ongoing kids ministry. Our VBS training offers in-depth training and ideas for churches and associations including leader enlistment, decorating, music, worship, missions, Bible study, recreation, crafts, and more! Registration is free for this one day event, and includes a light breakfast and lunch.

The Summit Summer Camp

West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists are excited to sponsor The Summit, a brand new summer camp for 6-12 graders. Students will develop a greater knowledge of who Jesus is and what that means for their lives, all while hanging out with friends in the great outdoors.
