Fellowship Baptist Church in Princeton, West Virginia, is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor.
The ideal candidate will affirm the Baptist Faith and Message (2000), meet the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9, demonstrate a strong commitment to Southern Baptist doctrine and theology, and actively support the Cooperative Program and local association missions.
In addition to weekly preaching and Wednesday evening Bible study, the pastor will lead special services (such as weddings and funerals), participate in visitations, and be involved in church-wide events like Vacation Bible School. The candidate should be a servant-leader with a heart for missions—locally and globally—and a desire to disciple across all age groups. A minimum of one year in formal church ministry and some level of higher education (college, technical school, or military experience) is preferred.
Fellowship Baptist Church was founded in 1963 with the vision to be a “light on the hill,” and today the church remains committed to exalting God’s greatness, evangelizing the world, and equipping the saints for service. Ministry areas include Sunday School, worship, youth and children’s programs, WMU, community missions, and active partnerships with local and international ministries.
Located in the heart of Mercer County, Princeton offers a strong sense of community, a wide range of ministry opportunities, and access to local attractions, outdoor recreation, and quality schools. It’s a great place to live—and a great place to do ministry.
