Camden Flats Baptist Church, established in 2000, is located at 510 Kanawha Street in Glenville, West Virginia. The church is an active member of the Immanuel Baptist Association and the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists.
Glenville, the county seat of Gilmer County, is a close-knit rural community and home to Glenville State University. The town has a population of about 1,000 residents when the university is not in session. Local employment includes farming, gas and oil production, small industries, education, and service-related positions. Outdoor recreation abounds with Cedar Creek State Park and three nearby state-operated lakes.
Camden Flats Baptist Church is home to thriving youth and adult ministries and is passionate about evangelism, outreach, and partnership with other local congregations.

Camden Flats Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a bi-vocational Associate Pastor with the potential to transition into the role of Pastor in the future.
Qualifications

A clear call from God to pastoral ministry, meeting the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:6–9.

Ordained as a minister in a Baptist church of like faith and order (or willing to pursue ordination under the New Testament teachings and the church’s guidance).

He must be in good standing and in harmony with the beliefs and program of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Responsibilities

Assist the pastor in shepherding and overseeing the church (1 Peter 5:1–3).

Preach and teach as needed, faithfully proclaiming the whole counsel of God’s Word.

Administer the ordinances and help supervise the teaching ministries of the church.

Support and develop both established and emerging ministries.

Perform additional pastoral duties as assigned.

The selection process will include review of the church’s constitution, by-laws, and statement of faith, completion of a candidate questionnaire, and one or more interviews (in person or via video).
